I don’t do this very often, but I have to share with you about some exciting products I am using which have made a huge difference in the health and look of my skin and eyelashes. First, I want you to know I was given one of these products to review by my friend Rachel Peek, who is a Rodan+Fields consultant. I met Rachel at church, and I can guarantee you she wouldn’t be selling this product if she didn’t believe in Rodan+Fields herself.
The product Rachel gave me to review is Lash Boost. I’m not going to lie; I was skeptical at first. My eyelashes were barely visible. I would use regular mascara, but I would never get the length that I wished I could have. I had tried other products before, including one which used a two-step process with fibers. However, my optometrist recommended not using that brand because of the rise in eye infections from the fibers. You only get one set of eyes, so I immediately quit using that product and was delighted when Rachel asked me to review Rodan + Fields Lash Boost.
I began using Lash Boost, and Rachel explained to me I’d have to wait a few weeks before I would see the results. It was about three weeks later that I began to notice my eyelashes were indeed not only getting longer, but thicker! I am so pleased with how the product works, and because these are my eyelashes, I don’t have to glue them on and have to worry about them falling off or be concerned about fibers giving me an eye infection. All I had to do was take the brush and go over my eyelid with a clear gel, and the rest is history.
Rodan+Fields were recently featured in the New York Times because it has surpassed all the other well-known skin care companies in sales. Rodan+Fields launched Lash Boost in 2016, and it sold over 175 million dollars in its first year, surpassing all other lash products. See why I am excited? Because it works! Let’s face it, you can’t have that type of sales and have many disgruntled consumers. Here is the proof! I hardly had eyelashes prior to using Lash Boost! Now, I’m even using mascara again!
Now, I’m not going to say this product is cheap because it isn’t. What I will say is this Lash Boost will last a long time. I received this product in June, and it is still going strong. Also, I’m a believer in quality over quantity. I would rather pay for something I know works and has the statistics to back it up than to keep purchasing countless, worthless products that don’t produce my desired look.
Now, Rachel didn’t ask me to promote any additional products, but I am going to because I have seen such a difference in my skin and others are noticing it too. I have had many compliments about how great my skin looks and people are asking me what I am doing differently. I simply tell then I am using the Rodan+Fields Skin Care Regimen called Reverse. It is as easy to use as counting to four!
In 2012 I was diagnosed with a basal cell carcinoma on the tip of my nose. This resulted in surgery which went very deep into my nasal cavity and left a hole the size of a dime in my nose. My nose has healed since then, but I never want to go through that experience again. Ever since that day I have been looking for a regimen which would help protect my skin and also take out the redness and dark spots from my face caused by sun damage. I’m very fair skinned, and after growing up in the 60’s and 70’s applying baby oil instead of sunscreen, my skin was a mess.
Rachel was sharing with me about some new products she was selling and invited my daughter and I to her house to try them. We went and tried the products, and I loved how they felt on my skin. The smell was great too! The Reverse regimen has a light orange scent and comes with a fabulous face scrub which I use in my shower every day, followed by a toner which makes my skin feel tingly and alive. The next step is the dual active brightening complex which contains retinol and vitamin C. I love how this combination makes my skin feel so soft. The last part is my favorite, which is the Reverse Broad Spectrum Sunscreen with 50 plus SPF. I love going out every day knowing my face is fully protected from the sun’s damaging rays.
I know there are some that will look at the price and say they can’t afford it. Let me ask you, do you buy a Starbucks coffee or go out to lunch every day? Do you purchase a candy bar or a bag of chips on the run? My skin regimen usually lasts me about four months. The total cost comes out to be around $45.00 a month or $1.50 a day. I broke this down because I wanted to show you it is affordable and worth it.
Many times as women we always give to everyone else but ourselves. I am glad I took the plunge and put some skin in the game, literally. I know you will be glad too! If you have any questions about Rodan+Fields, please feel free to contact Rachel Peek. She would be happy to answer all your questions and get you on the best regimen for your skin type. You won’t regret it! My Reverse regimen makes my skin Sparkle!

Your lashes look great! I just tried a few samples from R&F but having only enough of a sample for 2 nights is hard to notice a change!

Hi, Julie!
Thanks for reading my review! It would be hard to tell a difference with only a few samples. I am amazed at the difference the product has made and they continue to grow! I have been satisfied with R+F products and the results I have achieved. I love being a Grace Girl and the opportunity it gives us to make new friends!

I am impressed with the lash boost. Your lashes do look amazing. How long before you saw results?

Hi, Sheila! It was about three weeks before I started noticing a difference. I love the product and it is still going strong!

Girl…my lashes are nearly non-existent. I have to seriously look into this! Your lashes are amazing. I love the recent picture. Your skin looks beautiful. I have a question, does the lash boost turn your eyes brown? I read about a lash growing serum that turned hazel green eyes to brown.
Sheila says
Hi, Sue! I haven’t heard a thing about that and my eyes are still hazel. I am very impressed with the products and the outcome. Let me know if you try it!

Great review, Sheila. Your lashes look amazing. My daughter sells Mary Kay and they have a lash serum that works similarly to this one. I just keep forgetting to put it on! Ha, ha. Thanks for sharing. – Amy
